After graduating from UCLA, I made what many called a crazy decision: moving to Shanghai to pursue a Masters. Why leave everything familiar behind? Because after two decades in one place, I knew that growth happens at the edge of comfort zones. I believe experiencing is one of the greatest gifts in life. Whether through new cultures, unexpected conversations, or unfamiliar challenges – fundamentally shapes who we become.
Whether I'm crafting user interfaces or developing design systems, I approach each project with the same curiosity that took me halfway around the world. My design philosophy is simple: stay curious, design with intention, and never forget that behind every interaction is a human being deserving of thoughtful, beautiful experiences.
